Employment

Employment under Egypt's 2025 Labour Law

Egypt's Labour Law No. 14 of 2025 came into force on 1 September 2025 and replaced the 2003 law. We employ your team under it. You don't need a company in Egypt, and the people who work for you are employees, not freelancers.

Direct employment, no middleman

Progwarts is the legal employer. We hire each person ourselves, with no subcontractor between you and your team.

Contracts under Law 14/2025

Written employment contracts that follow the new law, reviewed by an international lawyer before anyone signs.

Social insurance and tax handled

We enroll each person in social insurance and handle payroll, income tax and the paperwork every month.

Every contract is reviewed by an international lawyer who knows Egyptian and foreign company law.

Your work, protected

Intellectual property, confidentiality and non-compete

The employment contract protects your business from the first day. Ask us how each clause works for you.

IP assigned to you

What your team creates for you belongs to you. Each employment contract assigns that work to you.

Confidentiality

Every contract includes confidentiality terms that cover your code, your data and your business.

Non-compete clauses

Contracts include non-compete clauses. Our lawyer sets the wording so it works under Egyptian law.

Data protection for you and your candidates. We handle personal data carefully and only for the work you hire us to do.

  • We use client and candidate data only to hire, employ and pay people
  • Candidates' CVs go only to the client hiring for that role
  • We sign a data processing agreement (DPA) with clients in the EU
  • Our privacy policy explains what we collect, why and for how long
